A graphic titled 'Rebellion'. It features an old black and white photo of a woman holding a young child, placed on a textured background with handwritten-style text that reads 'Created & Curated by Fiona Cahill'.

It is anticipated we will be able to share planned work with survivor advocacy group Fréa -Renewing Roots

Fréa –‘Renewing Roots’ supports former residents of Ireland's Mother and Baby and County Home institutions. Offering free, confidential advice and advocacy to individuals affected by institutional incarceration and abuse. The service is for former residents living in the north of England and their family members. Rooted in trauma-informed practice with a person-centred approach, renewing roots listens to community members’ experiences and works with them towards their goals. The word Fréa comes from the Irish for ‘root’; at our root lies care, respect and a renewed hope for growth.

Together Rendition and Renewing roots will create an accessible comfortable exhibition for survivors and affected people to attend a special opening and preview
